Tourist Information Centres

Tourist Information Centres (TIC) are an excellent starting point when you arrive in an area you have not visited before. They are a wealth of local information including details of services, amenities and attractions.

TICs can often provide a theatre booking service as well as searching for vacancies in hotels within the local area, saving you a lot of walking. Many have a good stock of local maps and historical books including other souvenirs.
