"Supposedly with links to Dracula, this uniquely English resort has stood the test of time. OK, there are a few arcades but essentially Whitby has everything. A good beach, plenty of fresh air (sometimes a little too much), two Goth weekends, a Folk week and overall plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Whitby is on the doorstep of the Heartbeat moors with so much space to walk and enjoy. I never fail to enjoy a visit to Whitby, be it a week or just for a weekend."
